There are several other factors that need to be taken into account when considering your dogs meal portions:

  • If they’re energetic you might need to feed them a bit more, if they’re a bit lazy you’ll need to feed them a bit less
  • If they’re a bit skinny you need to feed a bit more, if they’re putting weight on, you’ll need to feed them a bit less
  • If you take them on long walks regularly you might need to feed a bit more, if they only go on small walks you might need to feed them a bit less.
